3M 05568 Stikit No-Hole Soft 8 inch backup pads are designed for 3M sanding discs using the Stikit PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) attachment system. The vinyl pad face provides good disc adhesion and allows easy disc removal. Foam construction and tapered edge offer a high degree of conformability, providing a uniform finish when sanding contours and curves. Use this pad with a slow speed polisher or grinder, with fine grade adhesives. Great for sanding primer up to maximum 3000 RPM.
Great for aggressive sanding.

Used to prep Cape Dory typhoon for bottom painting. Better suited for larger, flatter areas. Well made and 3M self Stikit PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) work very well.
