I use this on fine brass parts before hand burnishing. Also for polishing lathed wooden parts.
The 3M wetordry paper works quite well!

I have used 3M products in the past with good to excellent results and as usual, I wasn't disappointed!
The sandpaper wears well and leaves a nice smooth finish w/o gouges. I've used 3M paper with water or light oil for polishing metal, or dry in some instances.
