These fenders are of a width to protect against most any swell that may chafe my wood 38' hull against the dock. Don't overfill, allow some small amount of volume so that they will not be popped if an exceptional swell/wake causes too much action.

An excellent fender for my small 17 ft. strip built Whitehall pulling boat. Keeps the mirror-like hull off the pier while remaining small enough to be stowed easily.
