Having used this wax for over 25 years, I have introduced numerous friends to it, and instructed them on the proper way to apply. It is easy to use with very little effort, if you follow the directions. Everyone thinks it is the best they have ever used. Shines, lasts, and protects like none other. Makes me look good!!

I just had my boat painted w/ two stage urethane. it was getting scuffs and scratches like crazy from bungie cords etc. collinite fiberglass cleaner took those off w/ ease like butter- and i was able to do two coats of fleetwax (inside and out) on a 16' cabin boat in one day. real easy to use. just go by their instructions and do small areas at a time before it hardens. stuff is very durable. not even bungies make a mark now. i have to watch where i place objects on my gunwales tho cuz with the new superslick surface they go slip-sliding away fast. highly recommend this product. leaves a very glassy finish.

Long lasting and best sheen on the market but hard to remove. A wet applicator is key and rub out immediatly. Rain will stain it and it cannot be washed out. A cleaner wax has to remove the stains. Collinite 870wax is the better product to work with but is not as cost effective or long lasting as paste.

I have been using Fleet Wax for about 15 years for both cars and a sailboat. Great protection for cars stored outdoors. Beats teflon and other marine coatings for protecting gelcoat. May need to prep gelcoat with polish such as a clor restorer for best results.

Simply the best paste wax available for fiberglass. Goes on easy. Use between 50-70 degrees for best results. Don't waste your money on others more expensive waxes. This is the best.
Buy from Jamestown.. they have the best prices on the Collinite brands. They double package everything so no worries about a leaking bottle.
Comments about Collinite Collinite Heavy Duty Paste Fleetwax 885:
Airplanes (I have owned several) collect bugs like almost no other moving object on the planet and those 'remnants' are often difficult to remove. Collinite Fleet Wax results in such a fine surface (it's exceedingly easy to apply, also)that protecting the prop blades and the leading edges of the wings is not a 'snap', but fairly easy.
One other thing; that polish lasts.

This is a can of wax like wax should be. When you open the can the product simply smells like wax. The bee's wax-like consistency and yellow color scream wax.
It takes a little elbow grease to remove, but the results are worth it. Follow application guidelines for temperature and humidity, it is hard to use when it is cold or very humid.
Initial results are great. Then it lasts longer than any product I've ever used.

Used both products on ten year old 400DA Sea Ray. 920 very effective cleaner - 885 goes on and wipes off easly. Also, excellant service from Jamestown Distributors

Comments about Collinite Collinite Heavy Duty Paste Fleetwax 885:
I used Collonite's wax on my newly gel-coated Hull. It seems to leave a very slippery surface that prevents contaminants from sticking.
I have seen great reviews for the product and I an very happy with it so far. I will likely add another coat prior to splashing and I will also use it in my car...
I like the fact that it seems to leave no white residue.
I used less than about 1/4 of the can for a 26' sailboat.

Comments about Collinite Collinite Heavy Duty Paste Fleetwax 885:
The Fleetwax does a good job of providing a protective surface to my boat's gelcoat. Need to use a good polish first like finessIt...and older gelcoat may take two applications to get nice even coverage.
