These lightweight marine battery boxes are constructed from a rigid polypropylene, making them impervious and totally resistant to battery acid. These battery boxes withstand corrosion, and will not crack or shatter. They are also ideal for RV's and yard equipment like lawn mowers, ATV's etc. Attwood marine battery boxes meet USCG specification 183:420 as an OEM installed battery hold down system. Tie-down strap sold separately.
