Sherwood impellers fit a variety of pumps in marine applications, including marine engine water pumps and bilge pumps. It is common practice to inspect and replace flexible impellers annually as preventative maintenance against pump failure. Spare water pump impellers for the engine coolant system should be kept on board. Neoprene construction is suitable for engine cooling pumps and nitrile construction is appropriate for bilge pumps or transfer duties where water is heavily contaminated with oil or diesel. (Part numbers ending in K designate impeller kits which include impeller, gasket and o-ring.) Check links tab for link to Manual/Parts Book. Useful for cross-referencing pumps to impeller.

The impellers are OEM quality. The price from Jamestown Dist. is less than half that of the engine manufacturer, who sells the identical product in the original box placed inside their own box (i.e. ripoff.)

The parts book was easy to use to identify my pump model, how it works and how to properly service it. The impeller is in place and works like "new" and I have the spare on-board now.
