The Fram FBM1110PLM filter assembly is used in diesel or gasoline fuel systems. This rugged filter is designed to stop dirt and other contaminants from clogging your fuel system. Use replaceable filter cartridge C1110PL. Measures 6-3/8" high. 3-3/16" body OD. Inlet-outlet connections are 1/4"-18 pipe thread. Complete with a mounting bracket and drain plug. UL listed.

In addition to the filter function, it has a drain at the bottom of the canister which allows it to function similar to a gascolater. Water settles to the bottom and can be drained. A easy way to see if there is water in the fuel as induced by ethanol. I was surprised at the amount of crud in the canister probably loosened by ethanol.
