Terible. Installed on 8HP Yamaha motor. Pryed off and thrown in canal by thief....he just bent the frame...maybe with a screwdriver. Motor gone. Lock retrieved from bottom of canal in Amsterdam by Water Patrol......

I put this on a kicker motor where it was used in a saltwater environment. After 2 years it was totally unusable and I had to saw it off with a reciprocating saw. This happened despite being rinsed with freshwater and being sprayed with wd-40 after each outing.

I installed this on a 1995 Yamaha 9.9.

After fully installing it, I was able to remove it with two hands in about one minute.

Pure garbage!

DO NOT BUY!!!
