Attach a Stingray hydrofoil stabilizer to the cavitation plate or flange on any outboard or I/O engine to improve your boat's performance. The hydrofoil shape produces lift in the stern which brings the bow down and places boat on plane sooner. Hydrofoil stabilizers result in higher speeds, quicker starts and less torque loading on the engine. Stingray Hydrofoils come in either Junior or Senior sizes for different sized engines and boats. See chart below. Hydrofoils work well in fresh or salt water, on runabouts, ski boats, bass boats, inflatables or cruisers.

once installed testing at different settings is needed to find the best setting, i have one on a 6 hp Johnson ob and its like having a new motor, it's faster, seems to get out of the hole faster, and steers much better, i highly recommend one if you have a 10 hp or less
