205 Fast Hardener is a low-viscosity epoxy curing agent for use when shorter working and cure time is needed or to provide adequate working time at cooler temperatures. At 72-degrees, 205 Fast Hardener will have a 9-12 minute Pot Life. When combined with WEST 105 Resin in a five-part resin to one-part hardener ratio, the cured resin/hardener mixture yields a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant solid with excellent bonding and coating properties. Not intended for clear coating.

Easy to use - buy the pumps! Runs a little on vertical serfaces - need to use multiple coats. Really easy mixing w. the pumps

"Fast" was slower then expected, which was a plus for a difficult glue-up. Loved the despensers; quick, clean, accurate! Easier to use than any previous products. Piano back frame strength is restored and ready for the next century. Ordered another kit for the next job.

I am restoring my 1981 Kelson Hydroplane. We used West System orginally. I feel that one of the reasons the wood in the boat was in such good condition was primarily because of this glue. We mixed West System with 50% Acetone and used it as a wood seal (two coats). After 25 yrs the wood is still NEW in appearance and color. Fantastic Product

At the lower range of use temperatures, I found it helpful to put heat lamp on wet epoxy to reduce the cure time. Otherwise its several days to cure. Biggest drawback with this product is its price. Like all epoxy, it's messy and you need to be prepared to work with it by using proper application and protective equipment.
