One is for fast hardener: used primarily in cooler temps or for a more rapid cure (205 hardener). The other is for a slow hardener: used in warmer temps or when more work time is needed (206 hardener). All products are made by and recommended by WEST System. The Gougeon Brothers (makers / founders of WEST) have been in the business of producing an effective epoxy for boat building and woodworking for over 35 years! Includes: WSY-105B, WSY-205B (fast kit) or WSY-206B (slow), WEST Mixing Pumps, 3 Yds x 38 inch wide 6oz Fiberglass cloth, WEST Reusable Mixing Sticks, Latex Gloves, WEST User Manual, and WEST Fiberglass Restoration Book. The kits now include the WEST System Epoxy - How-To DVD . Items may also be purchased separately, though its cheaper if you purchase this as a complete kit.

Although it was recommended by the mentors at the boat building class, I had decided before to use the West System on my project. I am not disappointed, it is easy to use, can be worked with regular tools with great results and their support line is awesome.

The best available. Ready when needed. The metered pumps are perfect. Resin and a hardner are a bit pricy but what can you do?

As I am restoring an older boat on a budget

I am especially pleased to find that Jamestown Distributors has put together a kit that is both economical and practical, and believe me I shop around, no other supplier even came close to this deal. In my opinion West System is the best product on the market, covering any application that I have encountered with great results.

West System epoxies are the best by far that i've tried for wood applications. Their measuring system is easy and accurate, and their range of fillers is comprehensive. These epoxies allow me to explore designs, that might otherwise be difficult or impossible.
