Just repaired a machine tool handle, the Marine-Tex I used was over 35 years old. Left over from a old employer, even broke glass jar trying to get it open. But save the hardner. the job was sucessful. Glad I found M-T on web, may need a new supply in the next 35yrs. WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!!

Used marine-tex for years on boat repair and small auto body repair, I'm using it now to repair vents and A/C cover on the roof of my 5th wheel.
The hot Arizona sun deteriotes everything and marine tex fixes it

The swim platform on my 22 ft Stinray was pulled off while someone was boarding. I thought I was in trouble until I stumbled on to Marine Tex at a boating store. The screws had pulled out of the swim platform and took fiberglass with them. It looked terrible. I tried the marine tex and at first thought I was in trouble because it looked too creamy when mixed. Curing seem to be slow but the next day when I checked my repair it was hard as a rock but I was still able to sand. The repair came out excellant. GREAT PRODUCT !

Comments about Marine Tex Marine-Tex Epoxy:
I am refurbishing a twenty year old wooden drift boat, and needed to replace fiberglass/and epoxy putty that had delaminated where the bottom and sides met inside the boat. I was paranoid relative to making my own putty via amending epoxy with fillers and determined that I would purchase a two-part product. Marine-Tex appeared to be a good alternative. When mixing the hardener and resin I thought I was in trouble, because the consistency is like marshmellow cream. I didn't think I would be able to smooth the putty once applied, but I had read that a latex gloved finger moistened with water could smooth the putty to make a concave bond between the sides and bottom of the boat. It worked with little sanding. and only minimal amine blush removal before sanding.

Sets up overnight, very durable, stronger than the glass around it.
