Gluvit Epoxy Water Sealer brushes away leaks, seeks out and fills and seals leaks throughout boats and homes. Gluvit is a paintable waterproof epoxy sealer that seeks, fills, and seals cracks in wood, fiberglass, and metal. Application results in a hard, impact and abrasion resistant protective barrier coat that minimizes fiberglass blistering and corrosion. In addition, the hard protective coating flexes with hull movements to bridge and seal hairline cracks. Application to aluminum fishing boats seals leaky aluminum seams and rivets. The cure rate gives a long working time that allows penetration into cracks to seal and strengthen. Gluvit fills minor chips and pinholes and is easily painted with most bottom or topside coatings and paints.

Jamestown recommended using this product to seal the bottom of a fuel tank that I was repairing. The product was great - worked exactly as described and did what I was hoping it would do. The product was easy to mix, apply and use. The results were a very durable surface that filled imperfections and surface problems. The Jamestown technical people were very responsive in answering my questions [...]. I would definitely use this product again for sealing metal, fiberglass, or wood (in fact, I am thinking of using it for a boat that I intend to restore). Great product - great company - I will definitely purchase again from Jamestown.

I used this on the bottom of my aluminum boat and also my husband painted the interior floor of his fierglass boat to seal before rebuilding the floor which had rotted out. Coverage is great a little goes a long way, The 5:1 ratio worked well for me,if your a first time user like me,I would not mix the whole can at once for a bottom boat project if I had it would have gone to waste.Smells awful make sure you use in well ventilated area. But was all worth it ,my boat does not leak a drop,taking the husbands fiberglass out tomorrow.

Purchaser quart can for repair on boat.Surprised when opened can and found only HALF full.went back to store was told was for mixing purpose REALLY a whole half of can for mixing

Used this Gluvit with Gray gel-coat coloring and it came out nice. Gluvit Tech support answered questions quickly . Applied the Gluvit with a 6" roller to the bottom and outside of a 17'Aluminum Boat after removing all paint and Oxidation.It took the entire gallon of Gluvit to put on a heavy coat. The product works great, follow directions and call Tech. support for help. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The product worked perfectly. did wonders for my aluminum boat. Used it on the inside seams as well using a smaller brush. Only issue is that a gallon is far to much for what I needed. Please make a 1/2 gallon size for your smaller jobs.

I rolled the application and finished with a brush. There was low oder but it did outgas for about a week. Did not build as high as expected but I am pleased with the flexibility.

This has sealed seams and rivets below the water line very effectively. Also used effectively to coat the exterior of aluminum fuel tank that had been foamed in place.
