Weldwood Plastic Resin Glue is an urea formaldehyde wood glue activated by mixing with water. The pre-catalyzed powdered, water soluble adhesive was developed to make wood joints stronger than the wood itself. Easy to mix and use. Provides a highly water resistant bond that will not stain the wood. Plastic Resin Glue is resistant to fungi, bacteria, oil, gasoline and solvents. Meets Fed. Spec. A-A-3052. Low VOC. For interior use only.

Mixed well, set up OK.
Will be exposed to salt water intermittently
holding my sliding companionway hatch together.
At least the acid brush I used would not separate
from the glue residue in the cup the next day. Had to throw the whole mess away.
It'll probably work OK but I'd rather have used resourcinal glue. I KNOW it's waterproof.
