Comments about WEST System West System G/Flex Liquid Epoxy Kits:

I used this epoxy to repair the hull of my 1/8 scale gas hydro rc boat, it had a major crack down one sponson & the center part of the hull! I just sanded the whole length of the damage, then let the epoxy set up for a while until it was thicker, then using a putty knife I filled the damage in completely with G-flex & it worked great! I never had any problems at all! this stuff works on all types of materials, is extremely strong, flexable, waterproof & shock resistant...what more could you ask for? HIGHLY RECCOMEMDED!

Comments about WEST System West System G/Flex Liquid Epoxy Kits:

I use West System G/Flex to affix phenolic face plates to brass backing plates on croquet mallets used in US and International Croquet tournaments. Since switching to G/Flex, I have never had a bond fail, even under extremely high impact, a common problem when bonding two very unlike surfaces under high-impact and wet use conditions.

Comments about WEST System West System G/Flex Liquid Epoxy Kits:

I holed my royalex canoe seal launching into a rock. I knew normal epoxy resins would be too stiff to last for a long time. Canoe shop owner suggested g-flex. I used 2 layers 6oz. fiberglass and the g-flex, repair done in the low 30's for temperature, certainly not ideal. Patch is holding well, and is not stiff like other resins.I like how this stuff flexes, and it's tough as well.

Comments about WEST System West System G/Flex Liquid Epoxy Kits:

I am building my first model turbine jet airplane. It is the biggest I've ever built (78" wingspan, 85" fuselage). G/Flex has superior properties for joining the two halves of the wing solidly, and for all the wood construction around the retractable landing gear bay. The working time is sufficiently long to line up and clamp parts precisely before it starts to set, and is obviously strong enough for the job once it is set. The company is missing an opportunity by not advertising in the modeling communities airplane/boat/train magazines and getting the word out about hobby size bottles of G/Flex.

I have yet to experience a failure in the use of this products when used to laminate fiberglass bows. This product allows "working time" before it sets. It takes heat very well needed to laminate bow limbs.

Comments about WEST System West System G/Flex Liquid Epoxy Kits:

I used the epoxy mix to rebuild a very badly damaged large ceramic water font from Italy.
Using bean bags and rice bags as a means of support, I was able to piece the ceramic puzzle back together with very little difficulty. I found it to be super tough, very forgiving while I was working the pieces back into their respective places and the excess sanded out very easily.

Gflex is really different- unlike standard rock hard epoxy this stuff is flexible and works where others won't. It bonds damp wood and can even work underwater. It is cool stuff.
