Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Helical thread inserts are a real lifesaver. Particularly when dealing with cast iron parts, it is very easy have have stripped thread situations. Drilling oversize holes and tapping for larger screws and bolts is always an option - but can cause other problems. Life is simpler when you keep the original fastener size. The SS inserts work fine with salt water too.
