Great slice of life Documentary following the Crew of DRUM in the Whitbread Round the World Sailing Race--before it was changed to the, "Volvo Ocean Race". It is a 50 minute account following mega-pop star Simon LeBon of Duran Duran fame as crew and co-owner of DRUM. The graphics are vintage 80's and this time capsule of a film is a timeless and priceless account of Sailboat racing at its finest. The soundtrack in itself is worth the viewing.
This is a definite collectable piece of sailing history. The narration is by both the legendary sailor and adventurer Skip Novak and rockstar and co-owner of DRUM Simon LeBon. A great film to add to any sailing enthusiasts collection and worthy of viewing to the general public on its own merit as a historical nautical classic... Cheers!
