Half Round Wood Rasp produces a rough cut on wood and soft metals. It has sharp rasp teeth in rows and single-cut teeth on the edge. Made by Nicholson, rounded on one side, and flat on the other. Available in 8 and 10 inch lengths.

This is an excellent tool for removing large amounts of wood and plywood quickly. This tool will create nice radiused chines in plywood more quickly than a power sander with 80 grit and you do not have to wear a respirator to avoid inhaling wood dust or put up with the noise of the power sander. All that and it is cheaper than 1 25 pack of sandpaper disks. I have made three day boats with mine and it is just starting to get dull. I highly recommend it.
