Making bells from gas cylinders. Used the eye nut to hang the clanger inside the bell. Works great.

Used it to hold a swing from the ceiling of my grandson's bed room. It is a swing that has springs that allow him to bounce and swing. Believe me, it holds very solid attached to 4x4 across beams in attic.

Used it on inner side of stem, fitted to bow eyebolt: many uses for an eyenut in that position, esp. in a small, open, wood boat.

I had installed a six foot high solid wood fence. I orignally secured it to an existing chain link fence using 3/8 bolts and 2 X 4's. The wind came and blew down a section. We then fortified the fence by sinking 4 X 4 posts and bolting them to the fence. The wind came again a year later and tilted the same fence section.
To remedy this I bought ground anchors and aircraft cable and cable clamps. I had one heck of a time finding Eye Nuts until I found your store. I have them and installed them and the steel stays are in place, waiting for the next wind. I will be able to assess the work then.
Those storms figured to be down drafts from the North of a Thunder Storm of consequence with winds of some 50 to 60 mph.

Good product will do the job of lifing my 20' Santana for dry sailing. The product finish is rough and I had to refinish, this was expected, unless you would prefer to spend $50-70 on a stainless steel nicely finished lifting eye. Great product for the price.
