Bronze Rings Bronze rings are used to fasten lines and bridles for sailing and rowing boats. They also are used to reinforce a sewn eye on the tack, clew, or head of a sail. Combined with other hardware (bronze eye straps, etc.) bronze rings can be used as drawer, cabinet or hatch pulls.

Used along with the ABI-151212 2 inch eye strap and a backing plate, this makes a great bow eye for my small dinghy. The dinghy is very light-weight, so I'm not really concerned with the overall strenght of the ring, although it appears very solid and well made.
