The Ritchie Venture compass is designed primarily for sailboats 16 ft to 36 ft in length. 3-3/4 inch compass mounts to any bulkhead with less than 45 degrees on angle. The Venture has a non-intrusive 12V green LED night light illumination that allows for clear and concise viewing. Compass includes a separate clinometer (INC-45) that provides instant and accurate heel readings.

Easy to install and use. Night lighting is good. On my smaller sailboat a GPS is just too expensive and this works well in place of that.
