The BP Econo series from Caviness are affordable, varnished wooden boat paddles. Available in lengths from 4 1/2 to 6 ft. Palm grip, varnish finish, parallel to blade face paddle shaft orientation. Even though they are sold as a budget price point model, these paddles are reasonably lightweight at approximately 24 ounces.

I bought the paddles for trophy presentation for LLYC Jr. C-Scow Race. The paddles have beautiful lines and great craftsmanship. Weather the kids use them as wall decor or propulsion for No-Wind days, the paddles will be great.
