This is great cord. We used it to set 100's of buoys for a rowing race. It is stiff enough to tie nicely and has a tightly braided cover. Other similar braided nylon ropes are flimsy. Also used for permanent lanyards for temporary lights with a slip prussing knot that works well.Great stuff. Durable spool...another brand from another supplier came on a plastic spool that broke and rendered it useless for in the boat buoy setting conditions.

Great for Scout Knots

Great for scout knot projects like Turk's head and monkey's fist. Has a stiffness that helps the scouts make the knots but not too stiff that if is a problem to work with.
