Beckson screw-out watertight deck plates provide tool free easy access to valves, tanks and compartments.These deck plates feature a self-aligning center which makes cross-threading and mis-aligning virtually impossible. A patented back-up sealing wall ensures waterproof seal, even if the plate gasket is removed. A clear center plates version provides an easy visual access of controls and gauges without the necessity of removing the plate.

I'm an avid fisherman who builds his own boats. The Beckson plates work very well, and they put up with a lot of abuse. They install easily. They will leak a tiny amount of water over a season's time, but others I've tried leak a lot more, and don't like to get beat up.
