Comments about Bomar Bomar Inspection Hatch:

This hatch is a solid replacement for factory installed hatches that have broken down. Rounded courners make sizing a little difficult if replacing hatches with squared off corners. Solid cam-locks and great watertight seal especially on my open centerconsole.

I use this for access to the bilge on my 18 foot center console. The overall construction of the hatch appears solid. The screw holes on the hinge side, however, are very weak. I drove a screw right through one of them and the others showed bowing when I placed screws to secure to the deck. I cannot recommend this wholeheartedly until that significant flaw is fixed.
