I would not recommend this hatch for any installation other than perhaps in a vertical panel. You can not stand on or walk on this hatch. It is very flimsy. The seals do not meet at the end but leave a 1/2 inch space. The weather stripping looks as if it would lift out of its recess. Not a well built product.
