Buying by the box is a cheap way to get a lot of brushes in a hurry. Chip brushes are the way to go when throw aways make sense. They do have a habit of shedding bristles so don't use them for finish work. Paint removers, epoxy resin and bottom paints work OK. Having a few different sizes on hand makes the projects go quicker.
