Brand: Jen
Located in: Paint Supplies, Brushes
Standard Foam Brushes for use with varnish, enamels, stains, latex, and oil paints. Not for use with shellac or lacquer. These foam brushes produce a great smooth finish and yet they are priced to be thrown-away when you are done.

Comments about Jen Foam Brushes:

We use these to paint picture frames with acrylic and latex paint. They are the same quality as other distributors at paint stores for a fraction of the price.

Comments about Jen Foam Brushes:

These brushes have a wooden handle that extends well into the foam. This is unlike others that connect the handle to a flimsy plastic "paddle" in the foam. They are very durable.

Comments about Jen Foam Brushes:

Having a box of foam brushes in the shop just makes sense. Too many times when you need to have one.

These work great for so many jobs. They are not the flimsy cheap foam -- these are good quality. And they are at a great price.

Comments about Jen Foam Brushes:

I use these brushes to varnish wood on my boat, a Friendship Sloop. They stand up to the task...totally, and do a fine job. The foam on plastic handle brushes falls apart quickly and easily; your brushes complete the job. Another huge plus is your pricing. They cost what they should, not someone's exorbitant marked up price. (That includes the local hardware store and the marine chandlery.)

Best brushes I have ever found.
By ecgreer from Saint Clair, MIchigan Trawler Moondancer on 6/30/2009
Pros:
Even Paint Distribution
Describe Yourself:
Avid Do-It-Yourselfer

Comments about Jen Foam Brushes:

I use foam brushes to do my varnish work. These don't shred and leave particles behind. Strong interior handle under foam doesn't break. Cheap enough to throw away and use another for every coat and strong enough to last through several teak window applications of varnish.

These brushes don't shred and leave particles behind in my varnish. The handles don't break where foam attaches which happens when I buy local foam brushes.

Don't waste your money with other big box brands! Jen brushes are superior. They are more absorbent, apply finish smoothy and hold up longer!
