Trilux 33 is Interlux's new tin-free antifouling paint, ideal for aluminum boats, outdrives, and outboards. Use for bright color or bright white finishes on underwater metals. Based on the latest Biolux technology for improved control of slime and algae growth, it replaces the older Trilux and Micron 33. Use Trilux 33 below the waterline on underwater boat hulls and parts in fresh, salt and brackish water. It can be applied by brush or roller. While it is specifically formulated for aluminum boats, engines, and drive parts, Trilux 33 works quite well on fiberglass, wood and other underwater metals.

Comments about Interlux Interlux Trilux 33 Antifouling Bottom Paint:

Have used this product for years on my Marinette. Know from experience red color holds up better than lighter colors. Holds up well on power washdown at fall haul out. Can get several seasons depending up on amount of use. In cold or warm weather need to thin as will get stiff on application and built up too much with either rollar or brush. Recoated in '10. Will touch in '11 as needed after proper presanding.

Comments about Interlux Interlux Trilux 33 Antifouling Bottom Paint:

I applied two coats of this product six months ago. The boat gets used about two times per month. It is a pontoon boat. When I pulled the boat for normal service I was suprised to see heavy growth of barnicals and a bad scum line on the pontoons. My local Marine dealer said this was the product to use for this type of boat. At [$] per gallon I would expect much better results. If anyone knows a better product please let me know.

Red last much longer than Blue. Sticks better to lower coat than blue. Use on 28 Marinette for years. Other Marinette owners say samething.
