Applied one coat black then one coat blue. Sailed in the Sea of Cortez. Wiped down with sponge monthly. Except for two 10 day periods in marinas boat was used every other day. Three months after application there were 3/8" barnacles.

I have used Horizons bottom paint on my Catalina sailboats for 4 years with good results. I have been able to get 2 years out of each paint job, with only a touchup required between paint jobs. The paint covers well but I apply 2 coats. The paint does a good job of preventing barnacles, however some years I notice some slime staining, not a significant issue.
