As a paint additive for wood and metal primers, it increases penetration and adhesion. When added to enamels and varnish, brushing is easier with less drag and pull. I have used Penetrol for years to restore the finish on fiberglass sailboats I sell. I recently bought a guitar, with a somewhat dingy finish. Penetrol worked wonders, the same results as with fiberglass, amazing. This guitar has an original laquer finish. Removed the dinge, and filled the porous surface, for a great shine. Great product!!!!

I used this product with applying varnish in a marine application and Penetrol allowed me to do it in a high heat/high humidity condition without brush marks. The flow was awesome.
