I purchased an expensive carriage house garage door and hired someone to stain it for me with the stain I purchased from you. It is absolutely beautiful, everyone stops by and asks where I got it. I just had a new entry door made in New Jersey, also Western Red Cedar, and I asked the owner to use the same stain, which I had purchased from Jamestown Distributor, and it is so beautiful. Thank you for

Only applied one coat. Plan on another but weather and schedule have prevented it. The first coat gave the desired results although instructions are clear that two or more coats are recomended. Looks great, so far with much rain and sun.

I love this stuff. It is very easy to use and clean up. Drops on the deck just scrape off with your fingernail. My rails were very rough. I put on four coats then sanded. I did an additional three coats with two coats of Cetol Marine Gloss. The rails are like glass! I'll never use varnish again.

I have stripped the exterior teak of our 82 Marine Trader 34 and have coated it with 4 coats of teak cetol and 1 coat of the gloss. The finish is gorgeous.

I have been using Cetol for many years my father discovered that it worked better than regular varnish on his 1937 Chris Craft. A little known trick how ever is to mix the clear with the stain to give the clear extra UV protection. How ever you must sand in between coats. This natural is a great natural color Thank You sikkens now I don't have to tint this product myself.

Comments about Sikkens Sikkens Cetol Marine Natural Teak:
As a teak oil on bare wood it may work just fine BUT I used DEKS OLJE #1 for years and now that it is discontinued I'm lost. The Cetol does not cover exisiting coats of DEKS OLJE. I only used it once per year on my deck and that new application of DEKS OLJE totally brought the old exiting layers back to life.. . night and day difference. It's like it disolved the old coats and replenished them with new oil. The CETOL just lays there and tries to soak in, doing nothing to enhance the color or finish. Where can I get some DEKS OLJE # 1 ?

Comments about Sikkens Sikkens Cetol Marine Natural Teak:
I refinished the wood trim on my boat with this product and it was exactly what I wanted. I didn't want a glossy finish but just a light sheen. I sanded, bleached then applied the Cetol and the finish is fantastic. It brought out the grain of the wood and dried to a satin finish. The only drawback is that it is very oily and messy in application, however that will probably be a plus since that is the way it is designed.

Comments about Sikkens Sikkens Cetol Marine Natural Teak:
I have a teak patio set. I clean and brighten the set at least two times a year and still can not get it back to the way it looked when I first purchased it. I was frustrated and ready to get rid of it until a friend told me about sikkens. After just one coat of Sikkens Cetol Marine Natural Teak, I am in love all over again. The table looks better than the day I bought it and if the continued care is a easy as my friend says, you will have a customer for life. I purchased my products from Jamestown Distributors and was very happy [...]
