Comments about Epifanes Epifanes - Yacht Enamel:
The color selection is a little difficult as the color "chips" are a bit small. However, it turned out to be an excellent color choice.

[...] I used this product to paint 121ea 4" by 4" balustrades. the product preformed very well, gave a great very smooth hard solid coating that looks as though will last for many years. The product tended to sag some on vertical surfaces but I had not found any other paint to give me the hard surface for which I was looking. This product has actually inspired me to take pictures of my work, which I rarely do.

I built a wooden drift boat nearly 10 years ago and applied two coats of Epifanes one part yacht enamel at the time. Just tonight I finished 'restoring' my boat and reapplying two coats of Epifanes paint I had left over from 10 years ago. Yes 10 years ago. I cracked the can and began to stir. Sure I had some pigment on the bottom of the can but when I finished stirring I was amazed that it flowed like new. I utilized an HVLP sprayer, thinned the material appropriately and began to spray. Results...No sags, no orange peel.
Mind you....I needed to refinish my interior varnished surfaces but I didn't 'need' to repaint the exterior epifanes from 10 years ago. The Epifanes has held up exceptionally in pretty challenging application of western river float trips with plenty of thermal cycling, and banging against tree limbs and the like. All this and only a sight fade in gloss. And can you believe this is on the exterior of the boat and below the waterline?
I am not a paint/epoxy/varnish 'expert' but have applied alot of it. Bottom line...Epifanes is impressive stuff.
I am looking forward to another 10+ years of floating down the river and hearing from the bank 'absolutely beautiful boat'.

A high quality paint is always great to use. Spread with High Quality Brush or Foam Roller and you will not be disapointed. I cleaned up with Acetone.
