It is fine if it had a way to hold it from the outside while tuning the nut on the inside instead of having slots to hold it on the inside which are totaly useless when installing it through hull in a tight place which I am sure that 90 % are.

Replaced old plastic thruhulls with these. Hose barb models are above waterline only. Nice polished finish, cheaper than the Groco equivalents.
