I got this blade as a less expensive alternative to the HSS blade; which I also ordered at the the same time.This blade is suitable for soft materials ie wood and plastic.How disappointing to pay [$]+ and get a blade that it BENT in a wave pattern, making it totally useless. This blade, unlike Fein's other blades, appears to be a cheap piece of stamped steel, like something that you'd get from a discount store for $1.99. Also, I'm sure the blade was bent in the manufacturing process and is not JD's fault.I would not buy this again unless I could inspect it first, even then I have doubts about the quality.
