I purchased the Multimaster to help with a tricky remodeling task; removing sections of 80 yr old tongue and groove bead board from a porch ceiling to insulate. The blade shape is near ideal for slicing the tongue off to remove a board from the middle. I also needed to cut the nails holding the board in place. The E blade is bi-metallic and is recommended for cutting metal. However with the high speed of the blade tip and repeated nail cuts in pine bead board it was very easy to overheat the blade. After cutting fewer than 10 nails the blade was ruined. I suggest trying to keep the blade a cool as possible and allowing it to cool down between cuts, if you have the time. I chose to keep moving and finish the job at the cost of the blade. Maybe this is just a cost of doing business; a[$] cost. Blades for my sawzall are much less expensive.
