Way over-priced for the qualtiy

I've owned this saw for almost one year. The handle design is not comfortable for the grip. There should also be a micro-adjustment for the miter cuts. There should be zero-tolerence in the design and function of the machine for the price you are paying. I am very disappointed.

This tool is overpriced for it's features. Right out of the box the detents were not accurate and the laser guide is off by 3/32". I do mostly finish work, when cutting off small end pieces from trim, the cut-offs get caught in the kerf guard on the table and tweak the blade ruing the cut. The kerf guide is too far apart and very flimsy. Festool needs to offer a zero tolerence guard that is stiffer. I have contacted Festool, but never received a response.

Wow, what a miter saw. When cutting even hardwood it is incredibly quiet. Very good dust collection. The rail-forward design saves space behind the saw during use. Terrific engineering. The Germans know their stuff.
