Most jigsaws have a hard time staying on course. Tough workpieces and curves can easily cause the blade to deflect. The result? Time-consuming finishing work like sanding or re-cutting. Festool Trion jigsaws are among the most powerful in existence, with a full 720 W. They can cut 4 3/4" wooden beams, 3/4" aluminum, or 3/8" steel. All the jigsaws feature adjustable pendulum stroke for powerful forward travel. All this power and precision is exceptionally easy to control. The jigsaws are particularly well-balanced to allow the power of the hand to be used to its best advantage. This is a significant benefit for one-handed use and work on vertical and overhead surfaces. The Trion comes in two handle configurations to suit the way you work. Choose from Barrel (PS300B) or D handle (PS300) configurations.

Comments about Festool Festool Trion Pendulum Jigsaws:

I own two other portable jigsaws. They work fine for certain things. But I wanted something that had more power and could cut more accurately (one of my other jigsaws does have a scroll/auto scroll feature). Festool has very nice accessories and blades for this saw. That is a big plus to me.

If you can get past the cost of this saw, you will not regret making the purchase, I guarantee. Saw exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Too little space to enumerate all its features. Some include a modular cord that detaches and has a positive lock on the saw, and a quick release for removal and installation of the blades, shortening time by about 85%. And the power is incredible. So far, nothing has slowed this saw down. The thumb roll speed control is perfect, so is the angle adjustment for the blade (helps keep damage in the kerf to a minimum on certain woods). Once you try this saw, you will never go back to another brand.

One of the best jig saws out there period. Replaceable plastic cutting guides are the secret to chip free cutting. When hooked to a Festool vac the saw is dust free. Very well designed.
