Comments about Fein Fein Turbo III Variable Speed Vacuum:

I'm in the guitar repair & building business, plus I produce videos on the subject and take many still photos for books and magazines. My shop is more like a studio than a normal wood shop. Still, I produce dust (rosewood, maple, ebony, metal dust, etc. I bought the Turbo iii instead of putting a hole through my shop wall, pouring a small slab, and putting up an insulated lean-to to house a dust collector. I didn't need the dust collector super badly, and decided the big Fein would work to evacuate my 6" x 48" belt-sander, a 14" bandsaw, and drill-press dust. (The belt-sander was most important).I've owned Fein's Turbo i for at least 5 years. This new one is even better because you can dial the suction/power (thereby controlling the volume). I've owned many vacuums, several dust collectors, and I'm sensitive to noise. I couldn't be happier with my decision to not waste a week building something I didn't really need.Also, I work for a mail-order supply company and have been for 25 years.
