These bearing kits are OK if you don't allow your axel to get submerged during boat launch & recovery as they only have the single lip seal inboard. It would be far better for a boat trailer axel that may get wet to have a double lip (spring reinforced) bearing seal for boat ramp use. Something like the Seachoice Trailer Wheel Bearing Kit would have been a better choice for me.
