Some suggested uses:
Polypropelene, since it floats and is a highly visible yellow, is often used for safety applications.
Wire and cable is used for rigging, support, steering, tiller cable, etc.
Sta set is used for sheets, lines and dock lines.
Three strand is used as a general purpose line.
Double braid is used for dock lines, anchor lines, and rodes.
Shackles, Thimbles, and Turnbuckles are used to attach wire, cable and/or chain to rigging, hulls, bows, etc. Available in galvanized, bronze, and stainless steel.
