Sanding Belts

Sanding belts are usually cloth backed, and are available in a range of sizes to fit many belt sanders. Aluminum oxide sanding belts are designed for light to heavy sanding of wood, metal, plastic and painted surfaces. 3M Three-M-Ite 240D and other sanding belts are used for grinding and finishing plastics, fiberglass, soft woods and non-ferrous metals. Durable open coat construction with greater heat and moisture resistance than glue types. The combination of a drills cloth and the rein-over-resin bond provides greater firmness and longer life.

The 3x21 sanding belts fits Skil sander numbers 594, 595; Porter Cable numbers 136, 153; Miller Falls number 830; Wards number 8533; Stanley number H493; Rockwell numbers 90, 91, 236 and 237.

The 3x24 sanding belts fit Black & Decker numbers U-144, U-244, U-346, 454, 470, 471, 654, 670, 671, 7450, 7460; Mail numbers 30, 31; Porter Cable numbers A3, B3, G3, T3, T33, 360; Stanley number H-31.

The 4x24 3m belts fit Fits Porter Cable number 564; Sears number 2239; Stanley numbers 494, 496 and 497.
