2012-05-15HOWIE BRAINARD: As long as you don't exceed the amperage rating I'm sure it will. It is a nice heavy duty switch -- Howie
2012-05-28BART WESP: Probably not. Trolling motors typically draw a fair amount of current (measured in amps), this switch is designed to handle a small pump, lighting, or fans. I would suggest looking for a battery cut of switch of some type.

2011-11-18HANS VANDENBOSCH: I used Sealed 3 Position Toggle Switch to replace the nav light switch on my Bayliner. Down is for anchor lights and up is for nav lighting.
2011-11-19HOWARD HORNSBY: The switch I got was SPDT but was very adequate. The fact that it is moisture resistant is a big plus for my application.

I am using this toggle switch to raise or lower the jack plate (power lift) on my fishing boat.
The momentary up - (off)- momentary down is a must switch to use in this application.

It's a switch - seems to be good quality. Make sure you order the right one. One is momentary, other stays wherever you switch it.

This switch toggles between the charge and run mode for my electric trolling motor. The first switch lasted 15 years. For some reason the screws on this switch were slightly shorter than the original switch, which made it difficult to attach two leads in the same place. Cole hersee should make these screws a tad longer. Otherwise, no problem.
