Collinite Sapphire Color-up Prewax Cleaner

Collinite 840 Sapphire Color-Up Prewax Cleaner is the first step in successfully applying a protective wax coating. Use 840 to remove dirt, film, discoloration, oil, grease, tar, wax, bug stains and more from highly finished surfaces in preparation for a follow-up protective wax.

Clean exterior marine finishes including lacquered paints, light colored clear coats, fiberglass, gel coats and more. Pre-wax cleaners work best with paint that is well-maintained and does not require swirl removal or polishing before waxing.

Remember that with any finish, proper cleaning and preparation is necessary for a great final result. If you want a good shine, you need to remove surface contaminants from the paint before sealing with coat of glossy wax.

Sapphire Prewax Cleaner:

Restores both color and clarity to weathered finishes.
Prepares the surface for last-step wax shine and protection.
Improves the follow-up wax bond, spread coverage and durability.
For use on: single stage paint, lacquered paint, light color clear coat, fiberglass, gel coat, marine finishes, chrome, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper.
NOTE: Is not recommended for dark, clear coat finishes.

Directions

Shake well prior to opening. Application surface should be lukewarm. Apply thin amount of Collinite 840 to a small area with an applicator pad. Rub well to loosen all embedded contaminants and reapply as necessary. Do not let product dry. Polish with microfiber or soft cotton towel. Follow up with a coat of appropriate wax for a perfect finish.
