2013-05-19KENNY DAVIS: I fill the resevoir and run the engine, on the "muffs" until the the resevoir is clear which tells me that the salt terminator is gone. To treat the trailer and boat I refill the resevoir and apply it to whatever else I want treated.

2012-03-30GRANT WORSLEY: I started using it to flush my new Honda outboard because Honda specifically recommends it as being effective in a "Salt Water Operation" supplement instruction that came with the owners manual. The issue date on the instruction is August 2010 so this endorsement by Honda is something new but I've had and still have several Honda motors and believe they know what they are talking about. You also need a mixer that attaches to a garden hose. I used a small amount to spray on a salt caked wind screen and was surprised at how easy it washed the salt off. I'm a small time builder always on a budget but I put this product in the category of maintenance that pays for itself in the long run.
2011-09-23A shopper asked: My engine is a 4.5 horse Evinrude, a small engine which won't accomodate muffs. I usually run it in a barrel of fresh water to flush it out. Can Salt Terminator be used in a barrel? How much Terminator would I have to use per gallon?
Is it still environmentally safe. I'd have to drain that barrel in my back yard.
