2011-11-01JIM MCMATH asked: I have a Vetus Bow Thruster Approximately 15 HP.
It hase a three blade broze propeller.
I believe the current model in your catalog is a BOW22024B.
Does Vetus offer an upgrade composite multi blade propeller that will fit my existing thruster? If so, do the benefits warrant changing the Propeller?

2011-11-02Ryan L: Our Vetus Rep. said "BOW220 is a 15hp thruster and the correct prop is a BP1053." You can contact customer service at 800-423-0030 to place an order.
thrown two prop kits within ten hours of use over 18 mos in the water. last time prop shaft sheared at gear house almost $1k to replace. whats wrong-- corrosion or just plain bad design.
