Moeller holding tanks can be used to store either freshwater supplies or marine toilet waste. Tanks are molded from rigid FDA approved linear polyethylene which meets the CFR 177.1520 criteria. Heavier wall thickness for strength and a 3" inspection port on larger capacity tanks.
Each tank features standard NPT (tapered) fill, drain, and vent openings. Polyethylene construction ensures that the tank will not emit foul odors when used as black water holding tank. Designed for waste or water holding, and available in capacities from 4 to 77 gallons. Translucent design enables visual tank level readings.

2013-02-20RANDY JOHNSON: I had to measure the space where the old tank was installed and purchase the tank that fit this space. I used existing strapping and mounted the tank in the aft enging compartment.
2013-02-21PHIL LAWRENCE: I fiberglassed two wooden cleats to the hull and centerboard trunk on a sailboat and installed a 17 gallon tank using stainless steel straps across the top and front of the tank...works great.

2012-04-19FERNANDO MUNOZ: I used heavy duty tie straps to secure the tank, two length wise and two width wise. As long as what you are tying into is secure.
2012-05-26ROBERT SCHWAGER: Try mounting U shape brackets on the hull , nylon tie down straps from an auto store, they don't need to be heavy duty. The ballast in the tank as it fills will hold it in place.
