Lewmar Pro Series 1000 Windlasses are chosen by more boat builders than any other manufacturer. Designed for boats 20 to 45 feet, the Pro 1000H is easy to install, with a 100 percent 316 stainless steel windlass housing for the ultimate in corrosion protection and durability. A manual recovery system is standard.
Each Pro 1000H includes: windlass, base gasket seal, fast-mounting studs, installation wrench, rocker switch, contactor, and circuit breaker. Accepts 5/16 inch chain.

2011-11-18Michael Reardon: the free fall model is not this one, it is the ProFish. This is the more basic "Pro Series" which can be upgraded later to the ProFish type. Freefall allows a fast vertical drop over wrecks and rocks, a feature sought after by fisherman and divers for precise locating of a spot on depth sounder.
We do sell the ProFish also, in both 700 and 1000
