2012-04-05JOHN S asked: When installing the breaker, I assume the pole labeled BAT attaches directly to the positive pole of the battery and AUX serves the device.? Just want to be sure.

2012-06-02RICHARD VERTZ: I didn't even see the pos side on the two connectors but really should not make a difference either way connect the red battery to one side of manual switch and other side to the dc distribution panel breaker wire that feeds all your dc load. Maybe by design they want you to connect batt side connector to battery because it can carry more load and the other side is rated at 50 amps max on the internals as well as conector/breaker switch.
Replaced older worn breaker with a new one. Old contacts were corroding. No problems replacing. New connectors should provide correct protection for my electronics and other DC powered devices i.e. frig, lighting, freshwater pump,.
