Questions & Answers about Windline Over-Platform Drop Ladder:
2012-08-29BRUCE JORDAN asked: What is the length of this ladder when folded and stowed? I only have 14" platform.

2012-08-29ALLEN NELSON: I believe it would fit. I have a small platform too.
2012-08-29ELIER ROQUETA: The platform folds into a 12" compact ladder that lays on top of the platform. Extended is like 3 feet.
2012-08-29MICHAEL BURNS: Hi Bruce, 14" should be enough room, I have compartment that mine fit into, but I believe it is 12" deep. It is made to install with some overhang, so again you should be ok. I beleive they give the closed dimensions.
Good luck, Mike
2012-08-30LARRY BARR: 14 and 5/8 inches
2012-08-31ROY DECASTRO: The ladder is excellent, i have a 2003 SeaPro and the platform is small , the ladder fits perfectly .
The only problem that i see with this ladder is that it does not have a clamp or hold down.

2012-06-14STEVE BROWN asked: I would like to purchase this ladder. However, it would be helpful to know the mounting bracket dimensions. My present ladder support bracket holes are spaced 13" +/- inches apart (rung to rung) and and 2 1/2" spaced on each side?

2012-06-14RON RUNION: Love to help but the ladder is in Mx. HAve not used the ladder as we went a different direction with a larger dive ladder.

2012-07-09JIM NEAL: The three step ladder I purchased had a spread of 10.13" centerline to centerline on the holes in the mounting brackets. Seems like the spacing on the 4 step ladder was a little more, but not 13". The spacing of the holes on either side are less than 2 1/2". If you check the Windline site, I believe they give at least the side to side dimensions on all their ladders. Good Luck.
2012-07-31LANCE RYDBERG: Steve off the top of my head that's about right--but I'd have to go measure it. It may be that your existing holes are just close enough to what's needed for this ladder that they should be filled and new holes drilled. There is a little play in the brackets side to side because they attach to the ladder with just one bolt. I'll measure and send you the actual dimensions.
2012-04-17BRAD MERRITT asked: What is the length of the ladder when collapsed?
Thanks

2012-02-06ROBERT LEBEL: I haven't used it yet since I installed on boat. I wish it was a little wider since the 2 step I replaced was wider. I don't know dimensions but I assume it's what is stated in the catalog.
Comments about Windline Over-Platform Drop Ladder:
It was as described and when used it did very well. Only thing missing is a latch system to hold ladder in place while not in use.

Comments about Windline Over-Platform Drop Ladder:
Replaced a 2-step ladder that had our old bones creaking and knees bending trying to get out of the water. This is much safer, easier, and makes getting into the boat a breeze after an hour of snorkeling or swimming. Highly recommended.

Comments about Windline Over-Platform Drop Ladder:
replaced ladder on the bow of a cobia 226 - it was a perfect fit - this is the second ladder we have replaced - not due to the quality of the ladder which is great but due operator error
